Description

Automatic Brinell hardness tester，unique automatic turret structure system. Users can start the test by customizing the measurement of the carbide indenter, test force, hold time that match the target. After the measurement is completed, no need to move the workpiece, automatic conversion, CMOS captures indentation images directly. Automatically find the most indentation-specific pixels on indentation images using world-leading digital imaging technology，high-speed analysis, automatic reading. Automatic measurement of standard block indentation, shadow indentation, background blur indentation, and elliptical indentation.

Measuring performance

1. The instrument has 12 levels of test force and 16 test scales for Brinell hardness, can be selected at will；

2. Equipped with 4 groups of ball indenters, all of which can automatically participate in the test；

3. Two sets of objectives are available, both of which can participate in the indentation diameter measurement；

4. According to the selected scale, the objective lens and the indenter are automatically switched；

5. Preset test force holding time, adjust the strength of the indentation light source；

6. Real-time display of loading time；

7. Display measurement indentation length, hardness value, measurement times, etc.；

8. Select the conversion value between each hardness scale；

Application

Brinell hardness test is mainly used for hardness measurement of cast iron, steel, non-ferrous metals and soft alloys, etc. In addition, it can also be used for hardness measurement of some non-metallic materials such as hard plastics and bakelite. The metal Brinell hardness test system uses a certain diameter of cemented carbide balls. Press into the surface of the material to be tested with the specified test force (Fig. 1a) after holding for the specified time, remove the test force, and measure the diameter of the indentation on the surface of the sample (Fig. 1b)，to calculate the Brinell hardness, and calculate it by the following formula：

HBW=0.102 x 2F/πD（D- ）

In the formula：F--------Test force N；

D-------Ball diameter mm；

d-------- Average diameter of indentation mm;

HBW--- Brinell hardness measured with a carbide ball indenter.

For example: 216HBW10/3000/10, when the hardness of 216 is measured with a cemented carbide ball with a diameter of 10mm and a test force of 29.42KN (3000kgf) for 10 seconds, its Brinell hardness is represented by the symbol HBW, and so on.
